Default 60mm muffler-80mm muffler?

I am planning on getting new 3"exhaust put on my car and I currently have a Apexi N1 60mm muffler on. Does it really make a noticeable difference in power and backpressure to run 3" exhaust with a 60mm muffler rather then an 80mm?

If anything you want the rear of the exhaust to be that largest. IMO you won't see too many gains maybe 5whp if I had to guess, but going from 2.31" to over 3" is always good. Why make your muffler the restrication?
