Default obd 1 intake question please!!!!!

Alrighty guys, I feel kinda dumb for askin this question but. If i convert my 89 crx si to obd 1 then i could use a d16y8 manifold and injectors and stuff couldnt I? I have just heard that that intake is like the type r for d series. I have just a stock a6.

thanks in advance

yes you could. just make sure you get one off a manual tranny one, that is before the secondary air pump emissions.

The one I am using is off a 98. You can use that intake if you are still obd0, you just take the resistor box out of the equation.

wow, the manifold is just a piece of aluminum...it has nothing to do with obd0, 1 or 2.

the only thing you will have to do is lengthen wiring on a few of the sensors, which are basically the same throughout obd0-obd2.

maybe this will help you out (click the smiley face) --->
