Default Electric Oil pres gauge install(sender)

i have an autometer electric oil pressure gauge. i dont have the sender that came with it originally but it looked JUST LIKE the oem replacement sender unit for a honda that you would get at autozone. i saw one guy i know run his sender unit for the ecu and for the gauge, both wires ran to it so he had one unit. i have several OEM honda units laying around. can i install 2 sending units and run one for the car and one for my gauge. i figure all these sending units are basically the same damn thing.

you must be talking about some other oil pressure sensor that honda makes. wich ones are you saying?

Since most oil pressure switches for the dummy light are no more than an on/off.
