Totalled.
Rule of thumb: If your civic is crashed, and its on a panel that is NOT removeable, its totaled lol.
Sorry man, that really sucks. What happened?

Sorry to say man, but that bueaty is totalled. If the quarter panel ever has severe damage like that.. It's totalled. Hope everything works out for ya!
Yeah but if you have anything in or on the car that you want to keep make sure you buy the car back from the insurance company or else it is all theirs. It only costs like 10% out of your claim check to do that. It would probably be worth it for your wheels and any audio stuff and the motor and tranny and ecu. You could definitely sell all of that and make your money back or save it and put it in/on another honda if you get one.
It depends anything is fixable, I hit a Jersey barrier at 90mph, the damage looked comparable, I was quoted 4500 to fix it. But this was also an integra not a civic but that panel is removable, its just seam welded behind your front door and under the gutter strip on the roof, don't believe everything your read. Your insurance company should also give you options. but IMO take the money and start over, fixing that kind of damage doesnt/isnt a good idea, the car will never drive the same.
asorry bro, i would be pissed as heck mang!! you know i would sue the motha-****!!! i am serious, wreckless driving. If you were parked then man i am sure you'll get money for it too. Lucky there wasnt anyone in the car i hope!! sorry dude, its gone, even if you fix it, i dont hink it'll run the same in the back! take the money, sue his/her buttox and get a new ride!!

as the victim he is entitled to full retail value of what his car would sell for. as the at fault party he is entitled to only trade value.

that is if he was the at fault party.
If the at fault party is not you, you are in the drivers seat as far as what YOU are willing to settle for. You tell the the insurance company what you want and you are willing to go to trial about it. You are entitled to compensation for a rental car even tho you may not rent one, Lost time from work, etc etc. if by chance they dont total it be sure to get compensated for diminished value.

Thanks for ythe feedback, you all answered alot of questions for me, i hope i get to keep my rims, exhaust, cai, thats the only non=factory pieces, I have a tein ss suspension ordered from raceline , lucily they said they will trade my kit for another similar kit if i buy a dif year civic or integra, But no i wasnt in the vehical lucily . I also am curious if they will let me buy the car for as cheap as 660 bucks (10%) book value beacuse my d16y8 complete would fetch that
lets see if they give me blue book i can turn my sohc civic into a ....................crx si 500-2000 then spend the rest on a b18 and run 1/4 mile in about 14 flat!!! sounds much better than the 16's my car ran!!!!! Will my 4x100 fit alot of differnt hondas? i hate my heavy *** tezo's anyway!
