Ok it's a 91 hatch will full interior, LS with turbo, Full Race traction bars, ES bushings in the front end, eibach springs (pro kit) and 22 inch slicks. I have a b16 tranny with an open diff. best I've got was a 2.1 Saw my buddy with an EG with stock suspension (130K) pop off a 1.6 on the same slicks with an open diff too.

So first step is a LSD then what?

 

How much psi are you running in the slicks? What rpm are you launching at?

 

10 and 12 I 've tried at 3000 and worked my way up every 500 rpms. Best it at about 5500

 

seems a bit low for slicks. heat 'em up real good, then drop it from real high up.

 

are the slicks really old?

 

not getting enough info here? are you spinning your *** off, bogging or what?

 

I usually launch at about 7000+ on slicks.

Gotta make sure that the slicks are nice and warmed up, and the Tire Pressure is set pretty low.

 

Since yo already know that you need a LSD , you should get one first and then go from there. And what trans are you using?
