Default What shift linkage for B18B in a Del Sol?

My friend just swapped a B18B into his Del Sol and fabricated LS shift linkages to work, but there is no way they are going to last through slamming gears. So which linkages are the proper ones for it?

Thanks for any help

Yea, the del sol one is different. I have a picture I saved from some other site showing the civic, gsr, and the sol one. The del sols is longer I believe.

You are both wrong. The ONLY shift linkage that will work is the DOHC VTEC del sol.

The only way to make the Civic one fit is to cut, weld (modify)

99-00 Honda Civic Si - PN is 54201-S04-G10 ROD, GEARSHIFT
94-97 Honda Del Sol VTEC (DOHC) - PN is 54201-SR2-G03 ROD, GEARSHIFT

That's wonderful.

but

Did you ever think some people may not know all this?:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by BlueIntegraBoy &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
Del Sol S = D15B7/D16Y7

"DelSol VTEC" to them could mean either the Si or VTEC models. Especially someone who, and i mean no offense to the thread starter, doesn't even know which linkage will work for a B swap his own car...
