those with L-con traction bars. I need basic adjustment help. clunking sounds
I installed the Lcon traction bars on my ef a few weeks ago. when I put them on I adjusted the radious rods as stiff as possible (shortened them). Is this bad for daily driving. I'm looking for some adjustment tips and I am wondering if them being to tight is causing a clunking problem up front when I get on the brakes and when I accelerate. clunking like an axle. thanks for looking.
they are ok. I think they are a little harsh for a daily driver. just my $.02. I replaced the pass side axle thinking that was it but it wasn't. I think the culpret is the bushings at the shock fork where u install the radious rods. THier set up to me needs to be redisgned because of where they place the radious rod end. There not in the stock location, but for $300 new the quality is great
