Does anyone know a way to run a stereo cable (mini plug) from the factory sound system on a 2001 Accord. I would like to be able to use my Ipod in the car and the FM transmitter and cassette adapter don't offer decent sound quality. Thanks!

 

go pick up a issue of car audio or sumthing, almost everyone is making sum tpye of ipod hookup to anything and everything, if u go to ur local electronics store they cud answer ur questions for u alot better then anyone of us here...

if you dont have the 6-disck indash changer, they make a cd changer input to rca out adapter that you cna plug in

basically it plugs into your radio and it converters the cd changer connector to rcas and you can connect you ipod or whatever to it; you would have to get another adapter as well: a mini to male rca one

Did you ever find how to connect your Ipod to your stock radio??? I have a 99 Accord and I would like to do the same but I want to use my stock radio and I do not want an FM modulator or cassette adapter. I don't have a 6 disc cd changer but simply one cd player. Let me know... I am in desperate need!

FM modulator is the best thing u can get with out getting a new system. I have one its clear and its in stereo. costed me about 50 bucks but thats the old fasion way they used to hook up cd changers in the late 90's.

only downfall there is, its not as loud as the cd opinion(panasonic head unit)
