Default I think I broke something

I was on my way to school when I heard a pop from behind my passenger side door panel. It started to smoke right away so I turned off the radio and hoped for the best. I pulled the panel off after class and this is what I found:

I know hardly anything about this stuff. I assume I broke that blue thing, what is it and how do I go about fixing it?

I also ripped the wires out of the tweeter by accident when the door panel popped off, I dropped the panel and the wires ripped right out:

I assume I can just solder some new ones on there?

Help this dumbass out y0!

nOT NECESSARILY,.... What you "broke" was a capacitor. Most the time when that happens, you damage other components on the board. That looks like a crossover so you might not be that bad off. Find out what its cut offs were(freq htz high and low) and just get a new one. If you are comfortable testing components I can tell you how to test the caps, diodes, resistors, and coil on that board but honestly your best bet is just to find yourself another crossover with the same freq's as the one you blew up. Oh, by the way infinity=
