Is there something you're specifically trying to figure out?

The ECU plugs are totally different - that's enough of a difference for me to know not to **** with trying to get one to work in a different OBD2 chassis.

If you have a 98 hatch (that came with a D16Y7) and are replacing it with a 99 D16Y7, then there is no need to even try using the 99 wire harness or ECU - the motors are the same - just drop it in.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT try to use an OBD2a wire harness in an OBD2b chassis and vice-versa.
