Fuel pressure gauge

Default Fuel pressure gauge

I have a AEM high volume fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator. i recently purchased a gauge to see where my fuel pressure is. now here is my problem the hole that it screwes into on the fuel rail is striped (how it happened i have no idea) is there any where else i can mount it and do you guys know here i can find instructions on how to do so and what i need to do it. thanks for your help

if the hole is stripped how is the fuel not shooting out of the hole? you could drill and tap another hole in the rail or helicoil it or some crap, however if it were me id replace the whole rail. The last thing i would want it a fire taking out my entire car. screwed up parts have no place under my hood.

you can screw it into the top of your fuel filter canister under the hood, with the banjo fitting, thats where i put mine.

I have a picture of a banjo bolt my friend made thats tapped for a shradder valve. Checking the fuel pressure is as easy as checking tire pressure

The valve came off a Ford FI unit.

all you do is take the bolt off of the top of the banjo fitting and screw your fuel pressure guage in there instead of the bolt.

yeah get a new washer and wrap the FPG in Teflon tape so you dont have leaks
