Car sometimes wont start...
Ok check this out
Sometimes my car wont start up but most of the time it starts up pretty clean..
Usually when the car doesn't start, i would have start it with the radio on or my lights on
(dont know why that happens but it works for me)
Anywho, I was thinking its either my battery cables (couldnt be my battery cuz one time I thought it was dead but I brought it to kragens and they said it was a full charged battery)
Either that or its my starter...kinda doubt it tho..
When I crank the car, the beepin noise (seatbelt check) would sound like its dying and the car doesnt crank at all.
So I'm thinking its probably an electrical problem...most likely it is :/
help me out yo!

I've had this exact same problem but it had to do with a blown fuse. It was in the fuse box under the hood under the ECU fuse. I can't think of what it is right now off the top of my head but try that.
I'd also try replacing your main relay. When they get really hot for some reason they tend not to work just FYI

i agree. does it tend to not start when its REALLY hot, like in the afternoon after school/work?

You PROBABLY have a parasitic lode...meaning there is a little parasite type thing in your car that eats away at the battery while it is off...the problem is it could be in anything thats metal so u might have to check it out...but the again these guys could be right...hahahaha

If it's doing it when it's hot outside, or when the car's warmed up - like if you're driving around, stop to grab a soda at the Stab-n-Grab, then come out and it doesn't want to start - start suspecting the main relay.
If it does it when the weather and car are cooler, like if it's been sitting overnight and the battery acts sluggish, start by checking all the battery cables and grounds and cleaning them up.
If it's the main relay, it WILL completely fail at some point. My '88 Si acted like this for a while; I bought a new relay, but couldn't seem to find the time to swap it (and it's a 10-minute job!). When I got ready to swap it out, I went out in the morning to move the car into the driveway (it was parked overnight on the street), and it just wouldn't start at all. It would crank and crank and crank, but no start. Ended up swapping the relay with my feet sticking out in traffic!
Usually, if it's the relay, the car will crank as strong as ever, but just won't fire and run - or it will sometimes act like it's TRYING to start, but just can't quite catch. From what you're describing, I'd say it's more likely some electrical gremlin closer to the battery, starter, or alternator. Sadly, though, I suck at electrical diagnostics. Electricity > Me.

I just got a friends car fixed that was having trouble staying running.
I/We Replaced or did the following
ECU
Fuel Injectors
Resistor Box
Fuel Pump
FPR
Re-wired the injectors with all new wire direct to ecu
Distributor
New Cap and Rotor
Spark Plug Wires
Spark Plugs gapped at 44
after all this crap, still didn't want to work right.... turns out the main relay is bunk... even after switching it out with another one from the junkyard. Time to order a new one from honda.
Please just get a known good main relay and try that first. I went through about a week with little sleep because of this crap and it was a simple fix that wouldn't have cost as much as my friend spent on trying to fix it. If you are going to get another relay, save yourself more trouble and just order a new one. I eliminated that part cause I replaced it once... not thinking that it could be bad. We even heard it click on. Still is bad.
