JASMA, what does it really mean?
I have wondered this for many years and would like to know the real answer. Many headers that come off jdm engines i import have these headers in full stainless with a "JASMA" badge welded to it. I know some people believe its an acronim(sp) for....taken from another thread:
I thought Jasma was Japan's version of the USA's CARB???
Japan Automotive Sports Muffler Association
Does anybody know for sure?

JASMA stands for Japan Automotive Sports Muffler Association. They set rules and regulations on exhausts. All it means is that your exhaust is made in Japan and meets their 98 dba requirements for sound level.
It's Japan's equivelant of CARB.
