what to do with my R??
why dont you want to take it? trust me if you go off to college w/o a car (provided u dont live in a megopolis like NY, or san fran) you will be VERY sorry. if it were me would hang onto your CW type R. but again thats if it was me. bottom line tho, do not let that thing sit. ITR's were meant to be driven. makes me sick when ppl by the damn things just to be able to pat themselves on the back, let it sit, and tehn sell it never knowign what they had. if you want to collect something, collect stamps.
expect spray painting, expect keyings, expect emblem removal, expect break ins, expect even the unexpected "where did my ITR go? I swear i parked it here this morning...."
lots of newbie thieves starting their career in college. beware

Are you going to college relatively close to home? If so you should just leave it at home and then drive it on the weekend or something. Or you can take it to college and take everything off your car that makes it stand out as a type R. take the spoiler off, decals, emblems and put a car cover on over night
Here's what I'm experiencing right now until I find a place to stay with a garage. I'm living on the campus dorms and my car is living at home. Safe at home. I get to drive it whenever I go back home (weekends). It really sucks and I wish I can take my car here but I don't really trust the surroundings. To me...it's better safe than sorry. But then again, I miss my car every minute I'm away from it.

my friend has an apartment in westwood near ucla.. and his turbo 4g prelude got jacked right out of his own private parking port under his apartment. it's not an apartment like you share a parking structure and there's like 50 other tenants living with you, he's living with about 4 other guys in this house/apartment kind of thing. I doubt ucla is much safer than any other campus around LA. keep your car at home.
put tripwire with grenades around it and hire a cuban national to watch it during the night hours. oh and don't take the car past 5,000, it makes a loud noise...maybe you should sell it
its just a car.
Not to me.

to be honest you don't really need a car at ucla untill you get an apartment, hell even if you have a car you still have to play the parking pass lottery, besides if you're even somewhat serious about school you won't be doing much driving, trust me

That depends what the 4k car has! I have nothing against a hatch, they are great project cars.. but when push comes to shove its still a hatch. a modified hatch can easily beat a nsx, but which one would u rather own?

are you mad? if you have ANY kind of motor oil runng thro ur system (as you well should if you own an itr) having a car is one of the few things that can keep you sane. you CANNOT let yourself become overwhlemed by the ***** that is college. might as well sell your sould to satan himself.
The car cost over 25k, thats 25k of hard earn $$$
no thats just $25K of debt for a car that does the same thing as a $10K real cash hybrid.
damn pigtegras
