"Interesting"...why are you shifting to third from neutral? This is presumably a neutral->clutch in->third->clutch out attempt from what I understand.

for example, I was going 45 mph in 5th, then I need to make a right turn, there's a yield sign... so what I do is I slow down 25 mph, make the turn, clutch in, put it to third, release clutch, add gas.
2nd will be too strong, and 4th will be too weak.
I should say even down shift from 5th to 3th is difficult...

synchro went bye bye. Drain the fluid, you should see little bronze colored flakes in the fluid.
time to rebuild, or buy a new one. I bought a new one for my ITR, only set me back $1699 plus shipping.

Heya,
Yes i achieved that time with just an AEM intake... and a set of crappy korean performance tires!
I hold it in the powerband of 6000RPMS.... now the key thing is to hold the gas at 6000, no less no more..and feather the clutch, so yuo maintain traction and power.. dont mash the gas until you have complete traction and control.

I'm thinking after awhile its gonna go again and ruin more that what "bent" the first time. Once metal is bent from the original shape its a considerable amount weaker.
