where can i plug the 12 volt source form the amplifier into the dash fuse box

If your talking about your remote wire for the amp there should be two blue wires on the back of your cd player connect a wire to those to wires and run it to the amp into the spot where it says remote

 

well its an old head unit im swappin it out later but if anyone has a helms or a fuse box diagram that tell me where the 12 volt key on under the dash is

 

You got a multimeter? If you do just test them, sry I cant tell you right off hand which it is.

There is a wire on your radio harness that says either Remote, Power Antenna, or Accessory. You use that wire. I have a helms manual, i will let you know tomarrow what color the wire is.

Stock radio wiring colors are located in the manual, left side of the page on that link.

As for amp install, you have a remote on/off which is best activated using relays so the amp doesnt draw current while the car is off. The remote lead just grounds a relay wire which activates the circuit to the positive terminal on the amp itself.
