Will it damage my engine if i detach the exhaust manifold from the engine manifold?

i know its loud and illegal its just i want to **** off one of my friends for stealing my girl.

I've heard that it can cool down the valves too fast and they can bend a lot easier..

Either way, it's stupid to do because it's too loud and it can't be good for the internals..

This is true, if you run your car for longer then 5 mins the valves will be so hot that when you turn it off the cold air will bend them. Metal expanes and contracts.

 

Just for the record, this is the stupidest post ive ever seen!!

It'd be better if you did a HUGE burn out in his driveway, but hey if you wanna just make noise, get a few M80s and set them off in his yard.

Better yet, take a can of WD40 or a can of AXE and make a huge ***** on his driveway. A few years ago a friend and I made anarchy signs in his driveway and tried to light them on fire while his parents were on vacation. They didn't burn well at all, but the anarchy signs are still there, even after 2 years.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Bottom line don't do it. If you want to get back at your girl.. There are PLENTY of other things you can do, look in the General Discussion and Debate forum, they should have some good ideas for ya..

 

dude you guys are stupid!!!! Wouldn't all that exhaust be super hot and start melting stuff every which way? and if hes got a short ram it could possibly get sucking back into the intake, not to mention if hes running rich that gas would fly every were!!!

I don't think gas would 'fly every where'. I think it would backfire right out of his block.. Either way, don't do it.
