my 98 honda civic lx began to shake/shudder when stopped (either in gear or in neutral or park) recently. i have no idea what it might be from and was hoping to get an idea of the problem. it shakes the entire car for a few seconds then goes back to normal and then shake again (noticed at a red light the first time.). any suggestions greatly appreciated

 

Rough idle. Try getting a valve adjustment. Maybe you have a broken motor mount and you're feeling the extra vibration at the wheel when you're stopped.
