Brother with a domestic dosent believe me on this, need some info on 1/4mile times...
Say I buy a B16A 92-95 engine (170Hp 113Trq) and put it on a CRX along with a couple mods to bring the power up to atleast 190hp/125ft trq. What type of times should I expect?
My brother with a 95 Mustang GT dosent believe a CRX with that engine swap can run 14s at the 1/4mile (with or without suspension mods on a 91 CRX SI or the light 1900lbs HF)

I know 1/4mile racing is all about hp/trq but I am just curious, how much hp/trq do you have?

You will run low 9's
, stock b16a w intake header and exhaust should run mid to low 14's. Mustang gt's suck along with the how fast will my car be in the 1/4 mile threads.

IMO,
Mustangs arent bad cars at all espically with all the potential the V8s have to offer. They may be heavy but getting into the 13s isnt hard. Hell, I even seen some that didnt need anything to do with forced induction get into the 10s.

No it's not. It's all about:
HP
Torque
Weight
Elevation
Driver Skill
Fuel
Tires
Temperature
Wind
All these play a part in what you are going to run in the 1/4 mile. There's even more.
And to answer your original question, yes you will achieve 14 second 1/4 mile times easily with that set-up.

Dont forget, street Tires or slicks.

IMO The thing that makes out B series swaps so quick is the transmissions. 4.4 Final Drive with close gears... WIN
Not to mention the fact that Vtec motors make there peak HP at higher RPMs and the trannys always keep them reved high.
