Just put some Sony Xplode 6 1/2s at all 4 corners, still gettings some rattle, obviously from from metal to metal contact. how can I eliminate this rattle? Should i just dynomat around the mouth of the speaker opening to eliminate the metal to metal contact? Anything else I can use?

find the contact, either tighten down the bolts holding them in, or put some kind of tape around them....pretty simple

Don't waste the money on dynamat. You can buy insulating strips with an adhesive side from most hardware stores to line the speaker mounting surface. The screws will just drill right through it.

 

Dynomat works. Or put down some tape, or some sort of padding.

 

Just get a dynamat speaker kit. Two of em are like $20 and they work well.
