i got a really good deal on a 91 integra(da) gs.. i have plans to do a rear disk swap, and boost a ls motor in my 94 hatch(eg), and maybe even take the seats.. i was thinking i should buy the car take the motor and mounts.. almost everything fromt he engine bay and use the car to do my disk brake conversion and motor swap..now the question im asking you is can i use the mounts tha come from the da integra or do i have to use dc ones.. also anc i use those rear disk brakes to do my disk conversion or does that also have to be from a dc.. the car will only cost me 800 and its running in good conditoin only has a cracked front bumper and ugly *** paint.. i was thinking to take the stuff i need and part it out and make some money back.. should i or should i not.. getting this car means i can finnaly rebuild the original b18a1 ive had in my garage( i need alot of parts .. all the parts the bolt on the engine dizzy,alt,injectors ecu,harness,fuel rail,, etc etc shyt like that) and have a extra b18 lieing around in the garage jus in case.. so does it look like a good investment?? thanks for yur advice and oppions

not in florida.. we have no emmisions so they wont check or find out

Well if he updates all the alternator, distributor, injectors and all that ****, he could be the OBDI parts on it right? Then it would be legal for him to swap that into his car.

 

Im not sure I caught the whole jist of your post but it sounds like youve got 2 cars, 2 engines and one needs rebuilding. right? so rebuild it.

and yea it always depends on where you live if its illegal or not to have an older engine in yer car. I believe its same year or newer correct to make it legal?

 

ok.. sry if it was hard to understand b4.. im going to break it down.. i drive a 94 dx
i already have a b18a1 and tranny that im rebuilding but i still need alot of parts to put it in.. dizzy,alt,injectors,fuel rail,fuel pressure regulator,ecu harness,ecu,axles,headers,all the mounts,clutch,flywheel,throttlebody,and all the intake and exhaust manifold studs.. as well as actually putting the motor back together.. im going to build a ls 4 boost and put it in the hatch. i also want to do the rear disk brake conversion.. i have a car im interested in 4 parts.. its a running integra gs (da)91 and cost 800$.. i can take all the motor parts and motor and put it in the hatch and finally get rid of that ****** single cam.. and keep on building the other motor 4 boost.. as well as have the parts for the disk conversion.. and then part out the body and interior .. and any other parts leftmy questoin is will the mounts form the da work in my eg?? or do i have to use dc mounts? the questions also goes for the rear disk conversion? does it have to be from a dc or can i use da parts?
