one thing i can do is suggest he not do it, but its his car, his money, and his decision.

Speaking as someone who doesn't consider himself a ricer but is considered by the board a noob, I would say HKS Hi-power. 55mm piping is great for little N/A engines, its decently loud at WOT but not ricey, IMO.

I figure you deserve at least ONE real answer.

prettymuch just make sure you have a good hiflo cat,
none of that straightpipe or ebay cat bs.

and a straight thru muffler, and maybe 1 resonator.

thats what my setup is like,
I have a stock header as well,
it is really deep and gnarly sounding.
really throaty.

sounds like a v6 or 8 when your just floating around town,
course when I get on it it sounds like psycho chainsaw thanks to my supercharger

rs-r ex-mag gtII, realy deep doesn't sound ricer at all, and on my DA it goes under the gas tank and only has 3-30 degree bends so it is a realy strait exhaust and it is tough as hell by far my favorite exhaust for the money i picked mine up for 475 shipped which is cheaper than tanabe, greddy, apex n1,
