AC Condensor Fan not turning on but works when hooked directly to battery
the ac condensor fan does not turn on when hooked up normal. when its connect straight to the battery it works, ive replaced the thermoswitch and thats not the problem. and it worked before, so i dont know what the problem is. dont think its the relays but who knows. anyone help me out? thanks in advance
If you ran it direct to the battery and its working, then that mean your relay is gone. Check your relay. take the one for the radiator fan and try it, there both the same.
i changed relays and it still doesnt work. not positive if theres enough pressure in there or not., but the compressor would kick on then shut off bc the fan doesnt turn on.
the fans will turn off same time the compressor shuts off.. correct.. its all wired together
test the plug where the relay goes in and see if u got power at the right spots.. if you do try jumping it out in the plug on the car.. if that works there is probaly a damaged spot on the "actuation" wires i dont know what there really called but they tell the relay to turn on the power
