I recently Installed a AEBS intake manifold on my b16 and the #4 injector keeps leaking from the fuel rail. Why do the injectors sit lower on the aebs manifold then the stock?? Do I need to add some kind of shim to the bottom of the injector to raise them a bit so they sit better in the fuel rail? I already tried to pull the injector closer the the fuel rail but with the vaccume that the engine produces it pulls it back down...

did you replace the injector O-rings ?

and did you lube them prior to install ?

 

yeah u prolly tore the lil o ring on the top upon install..change it

 

Yeah thats what I think happen. WHen I turn the key fuel starts comming out. I just bought some rubber seals this morning from honda. I will install them later and hopefully it will solve the problem. Should I grease them up before the install?

 

A little grease or oil will help make install a great deal easier!!!
