What wheels? You could have an R-trim wheel in a .58 A/R housing vs. a stage 3 wheel in a .82 A/R housing. A/R alone means jack **** if you don't elaborate, and "bigger" means **** all too.

I dont think anyone will have a factual answer for that question. You need to know the specs for the radius & area for both turbine housings to find out which one is bigger, because the ratio itself doesn't tell you much at all.
As for needing to know the turbine, you don't. He is just asking to compare the sizes of the housings. You can add in the turbine factor later.
