Default My conversion dilmea...need some feedback!

Hey guys, Im debating on either getting a 98 front end conversion or going on all out with a JDM front end converstion. Im scouting around for prices and estimating that it will cost somewhere in the range of: $250 (front end alone), $150 (for front end headlights) and $150 (for 98 rear). This will total to around $550. Whereas the JDM front end conversion will range from $1300-1800. I have a '96 teggy and want to bump up to that cleaner look, let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

where are you getting lights for 150?? and I wouls save for the JDM Front Conversion, IMO. I was debating on this also, and I just said tha6t I'll keep my 94-97 look, until I get more money. I want boost before I worry about looks.

Or people that have done the 98 front conversion/jdm conversion, could you list what you paid for? That would be real helpful so when I go out shopping for the parts, I can see the range of prices and not get ripped off. Thanks!

Im in the same boat as you but I need an entire front clip, cf hood's faded and both fenders have dents on em. I saw Hmotors had the non hid front for 1600 plus shipping, and 2000 for the hid plus shipping. Im having a hard time finding 98 parts, no junkyards around me have any integras, and all the guys selling 98+ stuff are on the west coast.

Yeah I don't want to spend 2gs just for the front because my car according to kelly blue book is only worth 4-5, thats almost half the price of the car! I might just get the 98 front if i can find it around 600 or less because I also want the rear end with the OEM kit. Yeah, I am originally from the west coast where all the 98 front sellers are but currently stationed in the east coast (savannah GA). Go figure

IMO, I'd go with the 98+ and leave it at that. Or if an accident happens or a deer pops out get the Conversion.

I'm not stopping for deer this rut season

you have to take in consideration those prices are for parts alone

my whole JDM front end conversion cost me a whooping 3.3k!!

1650 for the non-hid jdm conversion from HMO (IMO do not buy from them..find other places!!!! sure they are LEGIT and stuff..but the JDM conversion that sold me was so crap up my body shop wanted to charge me more to fixing it..but i talked them out of it)...

1700 for the paint job (nh-0 championship white the whole car, took out all dings, shaved side moldings, shave emblems)

that is all

If you want to take a trek, and don't mind paying top-dollar for a nice paint job, come to Precision in Santa Barbara. They are always doing the best around here.

Yeah, Im getting a headache thinking about what to get and what not to get. I might just end up sticking with what I got but I really want the OEM kit and it wouldn't look right w/o the 98 rear end SO I have to get the 98 front to go with the 98 rear. LOL. What to do, what to do?

If you don't want JDM, this would be my list:

- '98 - '01 Front and Rear Bumper.

- '98 - '01 Head/Taillights and Turn Signals.

- Painted Sideskirts, Side Mirrors and Shaved Side Moldings.

- Type-R Front Lip and Wing.

- OEM Optional Sides and Rear Valences.

Honestly, USDM Teg's don't really look any nicer then when they have all that stuff on them. All those pieces is what I eventually want on my Teg.

They painted your inner front grill wrong...Unless you wanted it that way.

This is how it should look.

Man, that is exactly what I plan on doing, just debating on JDM front or 98 front but the rest is what Im going for (eventually).
