lude Auto to 5 speed swap
My buddy has a 1992 SR Prelude with a H22a in it but it's currently an Auto has anyone know exactly what is needed to swap it to 5 speed. What do you need to do auto the mess of wires that plugged into the shifter unit. Is he able to use the peddles from 90-93 accord in his Prelude rather then trying to locate some Prelude ones ? I was told the Accord and the prelude shifter cables aren't exactly the same, the Prelude ones are a few inches shorter then the Accord ones, is this true, ? If so what effects will it bring if we decide to use them ?

basically you need everything dealing with the shifter assembly in the car, need a h-series transmission, preferably h22 for you, need the flywheel, new clutch kit, master cylinder, slaver cylinder, manuel transmission ecu, and thats all i can think of off the top of my head. there is a write up somewhere, check the FAQ post at the top, its prolly there
ur probably gunna need manual tranny cv shafts as well along with a man tans mount. i know that in some of the b-series motors the cams and injectors are different with the manual trans not sure about the h-series though i would deffinatly look into that. beleive me manual trans is almost always beter in a honda. as far as the clutch pedals go i would just get some prelude pedals so u dont have to dink around trying to make accord pedals fit
