Question about tiresize.
I recently purchased some 15x6.5 wheels. I'm wondering what size tires I should get? What do you guys roll on? I'm thinking 195/40. I don't want a huge amount of tire around the wheel, I don't want the 4x4 look.
What would you guys recommend?

I have 205/50s on my old 17s and there was about an inch of tire left. So, I'm guessing if I get the same size tire on 15s there will be quite a bit of tire. Not only do I want the smaller tire so it doesn't look werid, but also so it sits lower. I found some Kuhmos' in 205/40.
I think the 40 series would be too narrow. It might look weird in the wheel well because it will not fill up very much space. Kind of like a 6 duece impalla with 10's. anyway maybe the 45 series. if you dont want the 50's. I have 205/50/ on my si wheels and I dont think they look huge. here is a pic on the rollers.

I only see a red X. Yeah, that's a good point about not filling in the wheel well. Maybe I can get 205/45s? And meet somewhere in the middle? Does anyone have any pictures of a car on 205/45 tires?

Yeah, that's what I've decided. I have coilovers, and they're only half way down.. So if it sits too high, I can always slam her the ground anyways.

no such tire size as a 205/40/15.... falken makes a 205/45/15 but i run 205/50/15 and will be for the rest of my life. Fit perfectly no rubbing or problems, i dont have em tucked though. i have about 1/2 in of wheel well above all my tires. If you really want the tucked look then you can put a 195/50/15 on there and wont loose that much performance.
