gsr + blox intake manifold + CAI
i wanted to know specifically about the blox intake manifold shape and position.
as we all know, the stock gsr IM is flip sided compared to LS/ITR. which means that the CAI that u purchase has to be shaped so it inserts into the TB and bends at the right positions.
now if u throw a blox IM in the mix.... would i need to use an ls/ITR cai, or a gsr cai, or wat? (fitted onto a gsr)
hope i make sense!

i soon will have the blox intake manifold installed in my car, and you will need a LS/ITR intake because the intake inlet sits higher. Thats why i sold my gsr CAI and will use a ITR stock intake arm for temp use till i get more money to purchase a new intake. I know it does suck cuz i already bought an intake and now i need a new one.
Use the ITR application where possible. If there's no difference b/w the ITR and LS apps, then use either.
I've test fitted my stock GS-R intake arm on my skunk2 manifold before. It hits the strut tower bar and doesn't quite line up with the filter at the stock airbox.

It might. I wouldn't rule it out. It may depend a lot on the filter length and diameter because that will limit how much you can angle the intake pipe down to clear the strut tower bar.

the skunk2/blox IM are both flipped the SAME WAY UP AS itr/ls
which means, yes, i will need itr/ls intakes etc.
no point doing this now. not worth the trouble to switch intakes + trouble of installing and fitting with TB, and other tidbits.

yeah you would need an ITR cai, 3". the ls intake is 2 3/4". i have the blox on my gsr with a short ram and its nice. you need the ITR *throttle cable and *bracket, as well as a *spring from a d series throttle body to put on gsr TB. wish i had pics, my set up looks sweet. the parts alone only cost about $50

what throttle body are u using?
another question. if using the blox/skunk2 IM and using stock gsr throttle body.... will the ITR intake fit into the gsr throttle body?
u made mention of itr being 3" and ls being 2 3/4". does that mean if i use the GSR tb... that the 3" ITR intake will not fit on/connect on? i dont know how the intake arm fits into the TB
