ok well i kep haveing random moments were my car will misfire really bad like i can't even accel it's so bad .... but that only happens like once a bout every two months .... now all of a sudden i get up today and the cylinder #2 & #3 injectors are tapping like really loud ... i used a stethescope to listen if it was the head or any part at all of the valve train ... but so far nothing.

So i want to know if anyone else has had this problem and if it's a sign that my injectors are failing ... i realy need to know cuz this is my d.d. thanks

I have the same problem. The other night i went to the drag strip and after my first run my injectors were clicking loud as ****. I heard from many people that injectors click on normal basis but these are really loud.

Free bump because i would like to know if this is bad as well or just something to get used to?

All my injectors click pretty loud. They all sound the same and the car's only got 100 xxxkm on it. I think they should be fine. If you can hear them with the hood closed then maybe try checking them and/or replacing them. I really don't think you would have to replace them.

 

ok let me just re-iterate how loud they are (i think i spelled that right lol)

I can hear them inside the car blasting down the highway with the stereo on and the windows down ... they are really loud..... you can kinda hear them if you go in the house when my car is idleing ... ive had many people say **** about it ... so i dunno ... i think imma just buy some and pray that im right ...i found a used set from a friend of mine he said 10 bucks .. (good thing i have friends ) so imma try that ...

any comments would be really helpful though

 

Mine click bad, they always have. Same on my brother's Integra. I've been told it's normal but it's pretty loud..

How do you know it is the injectors clicking and not your valves?

 

I know mine are injectors because i did a valve adjustment thinking it was valves.

Also you could put a stick up to the head and listen through it and hear the ticking.
