When I start my car and the engine is cold, I hear the loudest vacuum noise coming from the intake. I don't know if I never noticed but I swear that the noise is getting more louder as my surging idle is getting worse.

This morning I noticed that the surging was worst than other times and the vacuum sound was also louder.

I will search to see if these two problems are related.

EDIT: I searched and is now wondering if my FITV or whatever it is called it the culprit. I will test that out in a few seconds and re-post.

 

Yep, my FITV had that loose plastic piece that everyone was talking about. Car idles great now. It was completely backed out which caused the car to even surge when hot.
