bike is bogging at about 7500 rpm's sometimes it won't do it in 1st and second but it always does it when I get to 3rd also I keep having battry problems 2 new batterys in a week they won't stay charged thanks for your help

 

i've had a lot of problems with my f2 and it's a 92.. before the bike would just turn off and most of the time it wouldn't start or after i start it, starting it up again it would struggle. I have a new battery and i kept it charging always.

I took it to a shop, turns out there were a lot of wiring issues and something with the starter relay. Now the bike runs fine, but i do get that bogging problem too, funny thing is the other shop i took it too said they "rebuilt" my carb

save some money and return a battery, you might be wasting money!

Obviously a charging problem..Could be a R/R,loose wire,Jetting problem (carbs)..Give us more information on your bike please,and we might be able to sort it out.
Any mods on this particular bike?

 

stage 3 jet kit, k&n filter, full micron exhuast thats pretty much it it has no guages except tach, all lights not hooked up bike was laid down

 

Stage 3 jet kit is setup to use individual filters so either it is not a stage 3 or it you are using the wrong filter(s) as you should have 4 individual filters one for each carb. I would say you want to have your voltage regulator/rectifier checked out. It could also be a wiring harness issue.

FYI: If you need another harness I have one still attached to the spare 94 engine in my garage.

still has air box and it has stage 3 jet kit with k&n stock style replacement I guess it might be wiring since everything that isn't needed is not hooked up and zip tied out the way I have no idea

I got harness with my old engine whats wrong with the 94 engine you have also now the bike only wants to idle and it's really ruff cuts off and doesn't want to start

 

anyone please help me

 

common honda problem, replace the rectifier. about 100 bux off ebay. the rectifier is under the right side tail fairing.

 

what does it look like I prob have one in my spare parts box

 

took it to the shop today
