for the pspec setup, will the stock **** and shift boot fit? because the shift rod curves down the middle and the connecting joint between the factory **** and shifter takes up about 1 inch of space. so what im worried about is that the 1 inch space will land where the shift rod curves. any answers?

One thing keeps me from liking the Lean shifter. Its the stock shifter!!!! To hell if I'm going to pay $120+ for someone to take a stock unit, hack off the bracket and weld a new one on.
Granted with the Pspec you have to "hack" the base plate to get the lever out.
Basically, the 5gen shifter/base plate combo is just not short shifter friendly. Honda never wanted them to come apart and is why they are sold together as one piece.
