Omni Dyno Graphs
Front:

I'll put the rear up tomorrow. I can`t get into a certain program I need.
Front and rear displacement graph:

See the official shock dyno thread for tips on how to read the graph. All and all they are pretty simillar to a Tokico Blue from what I have seen.
Just want to say thank to Steve for dropping them off. I dyno'd his adjustable stuff, too, but can`t get the files open. I will post them as well.

pretty please? The displacement one confuses me
I would have expected the graph to look like y=mx, where m is the spring rate, when velocity is low.

read the other thread, you will be able to under stand the first graph shown, the second one Ryan will have to help out on.

most people i know consider the blues a "oem replacment".
after seeing two different graphs, the product is right in line with the price.

suprise!
a 600 dollar coilover unit is on par with cheap shocks and a coilover sleeve product.
oh , Mucho thanks on the time to Dyno/Post the plot Ryan.

never said that the product was crappy, or anything, im simply saying that the stats reflect the price. Which means these aren't some super duper mad tight setup.
and im still waiting for ryan to post the spring results as promised, im guessing he will get them up some time this work week.
your paying for a set of tociko blue shocks and skunk2/omni coil overs.

IMO i have had both illuminas and the hp's (both tokico) the illuminas were fantabulous, and the hps were stiff, uncomfortable, and just felt like a stiff oem replacement. If you like to take the twisties and are on the budget these are for you.. budget being something similar to a burger king or taco bell part time position job.

, zero body roll. You shouldnt hop on the bashing bandwagon if you dont have first hand experience.
Bottom line is the omni's are a great product for the price, get the streets if you want a comfortable ride and better handling than than stock, get the sports if you want your car to handle like a go kart</TD></TR></TABLE>
you know i don't disagree with the things said about menkio, but you really don't know what you talking about.
1. omni's wont get ride of body roll
2. the omni power product quality is REFLECTED in its price, its a cheap complete coil-over, with ok dampening characteristics, and the springs well lets wait tell Ryan posts them up.
3. your car WILL not handle like a go kart with the sports.
also Steve HAS NEVER goten involved in a thread like this, (ie defended/explained his product/marketing). It would be pretty pointless and an endless argument if he did, so i can understand why.
Look at kteller, he has been involved in many of these threads, what did it get him? practice typing, and practice avoiding questions.
THIS IS THE SECOND set of omni's to be dyno'd. the first was done a while back, but never released until recently.
And just because ryan said the graph looks similar to the blues, doesn't mean they ARE THE blues. The curve could have alot of the same characteristics as the blues.

Yes. It WILL reduce body roll in proportion to the spring rates though, somewhat independently of the shocks.

I've got 3 track weekends (VIR, Road America, Exblow) and 10K miles on them. They've been on since about November.
You're wondering if they're drooping or something? They don't seem to be, I had to raise them a wee bit to keep them from rubbing (right after installing them), and they haven't started rubbing again or anything. Also the preload hasn't gone away either, it's remained pretty consistent when I checked.
I didn't cornerweight them, I just set them by spring height. I might cornerweight them sometime, if I can borrow some scales at some point.
