Default Limited Slip Diff for 7th Gen 6speed accord (maybe from CL or TL?)

Recently "invested" in a 6 speed v6 accord coupe, and now that the engine is breaking in, am starting to realize the disadvantage of the open differential in the car. I have no problem breaking a tire free when vtec kicks in even in 2nd gear unless the road is perfect and I'm going straight.

Isn't the 6 speed in mine similar or the same as the 6 speed in the current TL? If so, is anybody retrofitting the LSD from the TL into the accord, or just swapping the tranny all together? I'm saving my Ben Franklin's for a comptech supercharger kit hoping that in a year or so they'll have one for the current accord without much retrofitting, but there really isn't too much point to the extra power other then at high speeds with the open diff since there's no way to get the power to the ground.

thoughts on the question?

It would be best to put in an aftermarket LSD. Quaife or PhantomGrip are both good. The 2003 CL-S manual has a LSD installed if you want to go the swap route. If it fits, I would suggest using your tranny with an Aftermarket LSD.

Comptech won't release a supercharger for the 7th gen, and has no plans. I hear the TL supercharger will work, but it's going to take a lot of mods to get it to fit.

which lsd option would be the most streetable between the two vendors? I really don't plan on taking the car to the drag strip, just want a better way to get the power to the ground after I start playing.

that really too bad they won't modify the kit for the 7th gen, I would thing that all the ground work is already done with the current kit for the 6th gen that it wouldn't take much modification on their part to put out a bolt on set up for the 7th, the 6 speed is just crying for some more low end grunt.

Quaife are a very good LSD probably the best, however they are pricey and haven't been released for the the 7thgen.

I would contact PhantomGrip, http://www.phantomgrip.com/products.htm and see how much it would cost.

To tell you the truth, this mod is going to easily cost you $1500 regardless if you swap or use your existing tranny. Most of the work is custom and you'll need to be without a car for a good two weeks.
