woofers in tha KICK panels? - ECU issues?

woofers in tha KICK panels? - ECU issues?
Okay.. any issues w/ putting a woofer or anything w/ a powerful magnet in tha kick panels.. - im only worried about my ECU getting messed up .. u know.. please help me out...

bump --- i was thinking of installin 8" mid-range woofes in my kick panels.. u know glassing them in... but then tha issue of my ECU came into play.. so what do i do???

You have to put the ECU somewhere else. It won't fit in there with a woofer. Screw it down under you pass side floormat near the firewall and tell passengers to be careful.

yeah if you leave the ecu in place you'll end up with zero mounting depth and you'll have to end up building it far into the foot space. just move the ECU and you're set.

sounds good.t here is a spot behind my glovebox.. like an open area in my dash.. ill stik it there.... thanks for tha info...
