my acura badges finally got shaven off
i didnt know when they did it, but i just realized it after coming back from work. it's something too common i heard in here, and finally happened to me. i have to clean the mess later. can i just leave it naked like that? or it would be a hole there.... i might even take the decal off.....it's really frustrating...

sorry to hear it man, but IMHO it doesnt look bad without them, my car has no badges at all, or type R stickers. It looks extremely clean when the holes are filled in

It happened to me just last week. I didn't think there was a demand for the silver 
emblem. Yeah, it sucks. I felt violated. I just cleaned out the gunk and will live with the two holes. I got another one but I may not put it in yet.

the person who owned the car before me got a body shop to fill them in and blend the paint in, did a really nice job

With the printing capabilities these days, has anyone looked into decals that replace the red A emblems? I'm thinking they could print from photos that'd even show a little shadow relief for 3D effect. Get up really close and hey, "it's just a sticker, you rice thief!"

Shaven is misspelled, there is no such word.
Shaved is a body work term used for when emblems or door handles or lock holes or other protruding items from the car body are professionally removed and the mounting holes filled and painted to match the car body correctly.
What happened to you was they were STOLEN and that truely Sucks. Sorry to hear that, thats one of the reasons I removed all my badging and stickers.
Go to a good body shop and ask for a quote to have the holes filled and painted if you like. Or just order the badges from Acura again and remount 'em, but they might get stolen again.
