Is this power possible?
A friend of mine whom I work with happens to have the same year, color, and trim Prelude as I do. His has had some modifications, when I asked what he told me all he'd done were a 3" exhaust (which i've seen), new plugs, an intake, and a port & polish. We work at an engine shop, and he had his head off for something else, got bored, and ended up giving it a full port and polish.
Later we were talking about numbers, I asked him if he ever ran on a dyno, he said his neighbor has one, he said he ran 230 at the wheels.
I don't know what kind of dyno it is, but 230 at the wheels for an H23 with just an intake, exhaust, plugs, and a port&polish job sounds crazy. Is this possible, or will a port & polish really make that huge of a difference? I've been in his car and it hauls much more *** than my stock Prelude, does, but that number seems crazy high.

hmmmm
hmmmm
Right...I don't know anything about what all is involved in a port and polish and how much power it normally yields, but 230 seemed way to high.
Maybe the dyno was way off or something, but this dude didn't have any reason to lie, he's not trying to impress me, so i think it's just a mistake or something.
