Any info on the GT32?
Hey guys... searched and oly founf 10 articles... but didnt find the info i needed.
Does anyone have any info/experences with the GT32 non wastegate type?
COMPRESSOR: EXHAUST:
71mm 52 .50 64mm 73 .78
Trying for about 325 WHP on a 2.0 hyundai engine. 8.5:1 compression 6750 redline. I have looked at the comrpessor map and it seems to be 'ok' to me? I am just worried about the larger exhaust housing and turbine for a slow spool ... although it is twin scroll. Any input/advice would be great! thanks guys,

Andrew

laggy? not really....
4100 rpm i see full boost....well almost....after vtec kicks i see another .5psi or so...but thats probally just spiking up a bit.....
i am running 3" opendownpipe thou....and equal length header
on a log mani, it should spool a little faster.
i kno b18flip was running a gt32e on his gsr and said he saw full boost by 3900 with an inline pro manifold

You gotta remember that these turbos come in 3 different compressor diameter sizes that affect its initial spool characteristics, as well as the fact that your compression is much higher than the average bear, so that will also affect its on boost response.

Gee, how many times did I hear that before I bought into a high compression turbo setup.

if the exhaust housing is twin scroll and listed in the exhaust ar's you are most likely looking at a t4 version of the gt32, which will be incredibly laggy
