Ok...
So im trying to put in the new axle, and i notice this metal ring. it looks like a metal bracelet in a spring like form. I was trying to pop in the axle, and it seemed like this 'ring' appeared out of nowhere on the tranny side.

dont ask how, but i lost it. luckily i snapped some pics. take a look, and someone tell me WHAT THE HELL IS IT? and do i NEED to have it?

It's part of the axle seal.

what he said, just buy a new seal it's only 5$ at most car shops or go to honda and get *** fukked for 15$

yes get a whole new axle seal, they dont sell them seperately.
