dyno..?? not really familiar with that term but what exactly it do? how much would it cost approx to dyno?

i thought it'll be set if i go to the menu and set all those setting to my car spec, like sensor type is 6in and 6out, 4 cyl, etc.. will do the whole setting. damn if i knew this earlier, i wouldnt buy this crap.. better off chippin the ecu or get a ecu.

Dynamometer. Let's break it down: dynamo = power, meter = form of measurement. So based on the word structure we can conclude that it's a device used for the measurement of power.

That is freaking great!!!!
All a dyno is a maching that measures how my HP you car can produce. When they "dyno tune" a car they hook it all up to a computer and when the car does a pull on the dyno they can look at all of the signals and adjust the ECU, or in your case the VAFC to produce a better power curve, and make sure the car does not run lean or rich. Whne you get into cams, turbo, or full engine builds you allways want to get the car dynoed to make sure everything is running correct

that explains it..thanks.
By the way, i had the vafc installed and there's no check light engine on until 3rd gear pass 5,000rpm. 1st and 2nd gear are fine until 3rd gear @ 5,000 rpm the check light comes on and the engine start to run different, perhaps it'll back fire a little everytime i shift gear. Does this means it needs to be dyno so check light wont come on? thanks

You need to find out what the CEL code is. Probably either VTEC system, Knock sensor or system running to rich/lean. You need help buddy. Get the CEL code and go from there.

yeah probrably ur vtec oil pressure switch check it out... this is how to do it its simple. http://www.team-integra.net/se...ID=34
Before you do anything go pull the code. On the top of the integra forum page there is a thread about ECU sodes andd in there is tell you how to pull the code, and then it tells you what that code means.
If the code is lean or rich you MIGHT be able to do some tuning with teh VAFC. If you have just thrwen the code sine you got the VAFC hooked up i am willing to say it is something to do with it. Could be a wire hooked up wrong, or just the way it is set-up

yeah thanks guys for the advice.. i did wire'em correctly and double checked it. I was thinking it's the vafc that needs to be tweak somehow, or need a dyno.
