A couple days ago, my ignition lock cylinder broke. I'd just gotten home from a friends, and I tried to shut off my car, but the key wouldn't turn back off. Somehow I'd managed to start the car with only part of the key in the cylinder, and I was able to pull the key out of the ignition while it was still running. I had to pull the ECU fuse and battery ground to get the car to shut off.
So now I have a broken lock cylinder that I don't know how to get out, because according to the helms, you need to turn the ignition off in order to remove it. Where do I go from here? Thanks in advance.
Cliffs: Ignition switch wont turn off, now i can't get it out. what do i do?
