Key stuck in ignition
Car was stolen then recovered. Now there is a key stuck in ignition. I don’t know if I get the key out if it will work with regular key but if I leave it in there can be stolen easily again.
the key lock cylinder (the part the key is stuck in) is easily removed,

without the lock cylinder you can just use a screwdriver to start it.
at least you wont have a key in there to tempt someone
but without additional security replacing the lock cylinder isnt going to deter anyone.
a cheap security measure is to get a 15 amp fuse and grind the tabs off then
swap it with the under hood ecu fuse to disable it.
might be enough to make the scum move on to an easier target

Buy a new lock mechanism with key, car-part.com u kind find used one cheap install it but leave old one plugged it, drive it to honda unplug old one and plug new one in in their parking lot. Then pay them 50 to match new key to your computer. This is what I did.

Is there a part missing something that goes over or connects to that circle part

Idk if you figured it out yet, but you're missing your air filter there, the big black hose that leads to a big black box. And I accidentally inserted my 96 Integra key into my 99's ignition (and it f'ing started, easiest car to steal and probably how yours was stolen) and it wouldn't come back out. I tried twisting really hard but it didn't work, I tried putting the key forward (without starting) and cycling the gears (automatic) P through 1st then as soon as I put it back into park I twisted it back and it let it out. I also ended up being my 96 key, unsure if that helped release it, but it still starts my 96 as well
