Default removing coolant lines from fitv... TOO much coolant leak?

my idle fluxation has been narrowed down to my fitv due to the "finger over the port in the tb" test.

I couldnt quite get the hose off that fits directly on to the fitv, so i moved on up the hose and just disconnected another tube that connected to it. I understand that coolant is supposed to leak out, but how much exactly? right now i have a full cup of coolant that poured out and theres still probably more if i angle the hose downwards.

(this is right after i ran the "finger" test, so this means i had the car started momentarily beforehand. ) ... the car is still cold though.

anyone?
