Default GSR Coupe SWAP Exhaust question

I was wondering if I could use my dx civic catalytic or do i need a gsr catalytic. I was told that my catalytic is to short and i need a gsr catalytic but that means my exhaust won't fit properly and it will be pushed back some.
HELP IM SO CONFUSED

I'm not sure about the GSR specifically, but when I swapped the B18B into my friend's 92 Hatch, the stock cat worked fine. It bolted up on a little bit of a funny angle, but it has held for about a year now and hasn't leaked since.
