building up ls/vtec????
here is my new setup.
i have a 94s block, and iam getting a 2000 sir b16 head.
which will be a better choice for pistons and cam for this setup.
i was thinking type r pistons with some skunk 2 cams, and gears. also what timing belt will fit an ls/vtec.

search button id your friend, all of this has been covered a thousand times.
While you are searching for the timing belt make sure you check which head gasket to use

instead of type r heads, i'd go for aftermarket, your gonna pay about the same amount, and u can get a lot more power ouf ot some JE High compression pistons. don't forget aftermarket rods and bearings, I'd get a block girdle too.
and springs and retainers for the head...
unless u only need the motor for a few months.

Where in the original post is a Type R head mentioned? Also note that Honda 4 bangers use only one "head."
