Yes, it is as much of a PITA as everyone says it is. A press is not necessary. They do NOT squeak as long as you grease them generously and correctly with the supplied grease.

Leave yourself enough time to do this project, it will take longer than you think.

Tools needed are:

pliars
14mm socket
17mm socket
19mm socket
17mm wrench
3/8 drive socket wrench, 1/2 drive socket wrench
1/2 drive breaker bar
a can or two of PB Blaster penetrating lubricant
propane torch
metal vice
GFH (4lb)
ball joint fork
hack saw
3/8" or smaller chisel suitable for metal

For the rear, (easier than the front) there are only three bushings to replace on each LCA. Be sure to heat up the bolts and use plenty of PB blaster before trying to remove. I assure you if you heat them up enough with the torch, they will not break off. Most of your time on the rear suspension will be removing the bushings from the actual LCAs themselves. This is where you use the hacksaw and chisel and BFH.

If you do the front, and you successfully remove your lower ball joint without hurting it, good job. If you do damage the ball joint, I hightly suggest you replace it. They are about $25 each from autozone. To get to it, you need a 32mm socket for the axle nut, and I HIGHLY recommend an impact wrench for that job. I used my 2' breaker bar and a cheater bar on the axle nut, and it didn't budge.... Just a heads up.

I'm finishing up my install tonight, I will post pictures in a day or two.

good luck!
