yes. as long as you switch the tranny out with the corresponding tranny...ex: cable, hydraulic.

yes and no ...itll bolt to the engine fine, but it won't bolt into the car, because the transmission mount is different , you can get lucky and get the place racing cable to hydro mount from someone used since place racing went out of buisness or wait for hasport to release the mount...or you could prolly modify the mount in the engine bay. to get the hydrolic clutch to work in the cable chassis you could plumb the hydrolic lines from a dc into the da or you could get the kit from hasport that enables you to use the cable system on the hydro tranny.depending on the type of cable tranny you might or might not have to change the clutch....90-91 tranny, you have to change the clutch because the clutch spline inb the tranny is smaller. 92-93 no because the clutches are the same. serch around more and youll find out more on the subject....in the honda world the gen2 tegs are kinda black sheeped, but its changing now...slowly, but atleast were getting more options

What? i never knew that, i thought it would bolt up. My friend uses a itr hydro tranny in his DA with no problems and i use a b16cable tranny. Don't they all have the same location of the mounts? If they were different then how come when you swap b series in hatchbacks they only have 1set of mounts for all b series? hm.....thats wierd.

the front transmission mount is located on the cross-member, but on the newer eg, dc they dont have a cross member so the torque mounts are located on the lower parts of the front bulk-head. the newer cars have 5 mounts, da's have 4.
your buddy might have the conversion mount or modded the engine bay.

Can't you just run 3 mounts? driver side, back of motor, and tranny(passenger)?

we ran 3 mounts on my buddies c1 and it worked ok but he only had the car for 2 months after that so we really didnt see what the long run was, but on my friends b16 we ran 3 and it was fine with urethane bushings

that just deals with the hydro to cable conversion. no mounts on that one.
