gsr intake on f22b
a couple days ago my buddy bought a gsr k&n short ram intake. He bought it used for 50buckaroos. We tried test fitting it on to see if it would make clearance. But the battry was in the way. So we removed the airbox (who needs one anyways
) and cut the pipe down just enough to clear everything. Overall the gsr k&n sounds beautiful. At around 5200rpm, you can hear a change in the sound almost like a weak vtec kickin in. If im not mistaken, dont gsr intakes have dual stage? could this be a poor man's vtec
? I havent heard any other intakes on accords recently so i cant realy compare with others. Maybe ill try to get a soundclip on soon.
what intakes have you used and what do u think of them?

no.....you put some tubing and a filter on the end of your throttle body........for hondas, intakes do almost nothing, and the only thing that seperates one from another is the shape of the piping to bend around batteries, strut towers, etc
oh what the...sorry about that post. i guess this is what happens when you let friends post for you...
. The intake just made it sound louder and thats about it. Didn't feel a kick in my pants or anything. o well, at least it doesnt sound like a blender any more
