How to retain power steering?

Default How to retain power steering?

I just had a b18b swapped into my eh h/b & i was wondering what parts im going to need to retain power steering? I searched but came up w/ no concrete answers. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Did you car ever have power steering?

If you have the power rack and all your orig lines and the B18 came with a p/s pump, it should be easy.

BTW 'retain' means to keep possession, which i do not think you did.

yeah i have an si, it came w/ power steering. the guy who did the swap left the pump but it wasnt connected. I was just wondering if all i had to do was buy the ps belt and secure the pump?

im not to sure on this but dont the teg racks only have two lines going to it i know for sure the eg racks have three. how do the two pumps compare?

if its already there and hooked up, throw a belt on it and see if it works.

kool, im gonna try that. Anybody know if the d16 ps pump will work w/ the b18 or do i have to get a b18 ps pump?

i think ps is for the weak!! i dont have it on my eg and i cant even tell. but those b18s are heavy as a banshee.

lol, so did i until i drove my eh after the swap. i was already thinking of taking the ps system out but after my first drive i changed my mind. imo, it sux not having ps for daily driving Thanx for the info though, im gonna try to install the belt this weekend
